Announcement posted December 7, 2011 by ModmanAnnouncement:FileMaker Go 1.2.4 update available on the iTunes App StoreDetails:A free update for FileMaker Go 1.2.4 for iPhone and iPad is now available. This update addresses compatibility issues associated with running on iOS 5.
Specifically, it resolves an issue where scrolling between fields causes redrawing that can hang the application. It also fixes an issue where selected text that appears behind the keyboard causes a jumping effect.
This update is free to existing FileMaker Go users.

Announcement posted September 29, 2011 by ModmanAnnouncement:FileMaker Server 11.0v4 and FileMaker Server 11.0v4 Advanced now availableDetails:FileMaker, Inc. has released FileMaker Server 11.0v4 for Mac OS X versions 10.5, 10.6, and 10.7. This update addresses the following issues:
Installer
- The fmserver user is no longer displayed as a user in the Mac OS X Lion login window.
Database Server
- Fixed an issue where a scheduled script using the Get(FileMakerPath) function on Mac OS X could cause FileMaker Server to crash.
Web Publishing Engine
- Web Publishing is now fully compatible and supported on Mac OS X Lion. This includes Instant Web Publishing and Custom Web Publishing (PHP, XML, and XSLT).
When upgrading your server’s operating system, you must reinstall FileMaker Server. Because this software adds support for Mac OS X version 10.7 Lion, it is a full installer rather than an updater.

· OS X Lion only: Addressed an issue with some date field formats showing Asian characters.
· OS X Lion only: Addressed an issue with not being able to use zero or negative numbers in data formatting in the Inspectorand in some controls in the Chart Setup dialog.

- Fixes issue with FileMaker Charts and Web Viewers not appearing on printed output when using the Freeze Window script step.
- Fixes issue with the Show Custom Dialog script step crashing when entering data into Input Fields.
- GetLayoutObjectAttribute now correctly returns values of the “content” parameter for data URLs.
- Prevents crashing when a container field appears below a certain point in the layout and “Choose from Library” option is selected.
- Solves other compatibility issues for running on iPhone and iPad.

Announcement posted March 8, 2011 by ModmanAnnouncement:FileMaker Server Admin Console is not compatible with Java 6 update 24Details:The FileMaker Server Administration Console is not compatible with Java 6 update 24, and will not launch. This applies to both Windows and Mac OS X.
If you apply this Java update to the computer on which you administer FileMaker Server, you have two alternatives for administering FileMaker Server:
1. If you have another computer on your network on which the Java update has not yet been applied, you can remotely administer your FileMaker Server. For more information on remote administration, please see the "Starting Admin Console" section in the FileMaker Server 11 Help. For earlier versions, browse our Product Documentation Center Archive.
2. You can use the command line interface. For more information on using the command line interface, please see the "Command line reference" section in the FileMaker Server 11 Help. For earlier versions, browse our Product Documentation Center Archive.
