    Summary:
Please keep Bento integration into Address Book, iCal, and iPhoto!
    Bento product:
    Bento for Mac
    Detailed feedback:
I read off your website that "future versions of Bento for Mac, Bento for iPad and Bento for iPhone will discontinue integration with Address Book, iCal and iPhoto
." (http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/10702)

    Please reconsider!

It is this integration that sets Bento apart from its competitors and a top reason why I bought into the Bento stream.

I wish there was a way for me to express how impactful I want this product feedback to be and hope that others with the same sentiment will also voice their concern.

I cannot express too strongly my utter disbelief that FileMaker have decided to remove the main value and Unique Selling Point of Bento. Why?.

I have built a number of databases around this functionality. It seems that Apple is beginning to loose the plot. I have had tremendous problems migrating to Lion from Snow Leopard and eventually had to do a clean reinstall to get Lion working properly. I was then unable to find my registration details for Bento 4 so have had to buy another - admittedly only £ 20 worth but still annoying. But if I had know that the functionality of Bento would be completely destroyed (presumably with the upgrade to Mountain Lion) I would have saved my money.

I have only ever used the address book integration which has been invaluable. A basic rule of database management is to only have one entry point.

I can see that integrating iPhoto might be a problem as the files could be so large but surely the amount of data involved in the Address book and iCal must be relatively minimal.

I agree with David Dvorin - All Bento users must make their feelings known in the strongest manner so as to reverse this decision. If it is not reversed it will do real damage to the reputation of both FileMaker and AppleCryCryCryCryCry
