    Title:
    Multi-Column Report and Page Breaks
    Post:

I setup a sub-summary report that is supported to start a new page, and restart the page numbers, when the sub-summary field changes. The report works perfectly.

When I changed the report to a three-column report, I'm not getting a new page when the sub-summary field changes.

In fact, when the sub-summary field changes, the data begins printing in a new column, but not a new page.

What would I need to do to "fix" this? All suggestions appreciated.

    From Help:

"if you've specified that a page break comes after the subsummary part, FileMaker Pro starts a new column (not a new page). With Across first, FileMaker Pro prints subsummary parts the width of the page, and the specified page break starts a new page."

    I don;t know of any work-around.
