Having Problems in Filemaker Go

I am having problems. I create a file in FMPro 12 and after I move the *.fmp12 file over, I can only see the records but not create or add records, when I try to edit fields it says "This action cannot be performed because this file sis not modifiable."
Am I doing something wrong?
