    ODBC Client Not Showing Up

    Hi All:

     

    I installed the FIleMaker ODBC Driver, but it doesn't show up when click "Add" under the system DSN tab in the ODBC Administration window.  I've done this dozens of times and it's worked in every other installation except this one.

     

    I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.  I've never done it on this operating system before.  Does it work differently?

    Filemaker Tech Support doesn´t know about my solution. Odbc driver works on Windows 64 bit. Here you find what to do to get it working.

      I spoke to FileMaker tech support.  ...they more or less told me that the ODBC driver won't work in 64-bit.  However, there may be a workaround. 

       

      She said the guy who wrote the plugin frequents this board and can provide some insight.
